God Keeps Giving Me Little Surprises
~ A night on the Queen Mary ~I am off for a little excursion. I always wanted to stay on the Queen Mary. God is really good to let me have this. It is one of those things I hoped for, but never put much thought into it actually happening.Joy, Joy, Joy, in my heart is ringing; Joy, Joy, Joy, Jesus set me singing; Telling of how He died for me, Telling of how He set me free, Filling my life with victory, Joy, Joy, Joy.

It is 7:17 a.m.; I got up at 5:15 and went out to run around the hotel grounds. I also climbed 4 flights of stairs 5 times in an attempt to counteract all the calories in the delicious food and drink I will be consuming. Last night's dinner was way beyond scrumptious!
Time to heat up my curling iron and head out for a day of adventure.

Oh Hope, how marvelously exciting! Traditional ocean liners - and the journeys undertaken on them - have always appealed to me immensely. I think that world lost something great when ships of this nature virtually vanished from our seas (yes, we have cruise ships, but they're not the same, IMO). I hope that you have a splendid time on your night out and like to think that I'll be there with you in spirit.
