In the 34 plus years I have lived in California,
I have never walked across the Golden Gate Bridge...
Until this weekend.
My nephew is visiting California for the first time.
We thought it was a good time to make this walk.
It was a foggy morning.
It is a 1.5 miles one way -
from the parking lot on one side to the visitor center on the other.

View from Fort Point National Historic Site.
I have visited and drove across it, but never walked across...that is really cool...how scary to walk thru the fog (wink). Have a beautiful week, Hope. smiles
ReplyDeleteBeen many times but not done this. So glad you could make the walk. Your photos are wonderful. Have a great week. Blessings! xo

WOW!! That's really neat!
ReplyDeleteTY for visiting my blog and for your sweet comments. I did want to clarify - Melissa Lester didn't give me the teacup set - that's MY giveaway to MY readers. Melissa arranged the giveaway of the Tea Time magazine subscription, which I won - my teacup is my trying to do a like minded kindness to my readers. Did you want to enter the contest then too? Let me know again on that post so I know to include you if you'd like! : - )
God bless!

Looks fun, even though I do have a bit of a fear of heights.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos.

What a truly incredible experience. I love that the iconic fog of the Bay came out to greet you that day. While I haven't been to SF yet myself, Tony was there for work for three months straight last year and so this post resonates all the more with me.
ReplyDeleteMany hugs & happy mid-August wishes,
♥ Jessica
