Veterans Day Celebration

Veterans Day is a special day at our house. 

Everyone is home today. 

We are having a family dinner.
We are having a captain's feast.

My daughter came over last evening to spend the night –

 Her being here really makes it feel like the holidays have started.
She has been cuddling up by the wood-stove crocheting a scarf.

Featuring today’s Truly Scrumptious Carrot Cake - made last night -

and Quick and Easy Cinnamon Rolls - made this morning.
