~ Sunrise on the American River ~
On our way to get our morning coffee - 2.5 miles each way.
We usually arrive at Starbucks at about 6:00.
It is so peaceful and quiet at this time.
We always feel as though we are on vacation.
I always have a burst of energy for the walk home.
Often we see dear along the way.
One of our favorite sights is from this bridge over the American River.
The old village is famous for its many chickens.
They crow all morning long, as if they are competing with each other.
There is nothing nicer than starting my day with a morning walk.
