What a deeply beautiful, tranquil spot. It calls to mind a similar chair that my grandmother had in her living room when I was a youngster. The pattern was different, but the shape wasn't too far off and it always included a comfortable pillow or two and cozy throw. She'd keep a basket of magazines on one side (which I loved reading when I was there - especially since she subscribed to Victoria back when it was more heavily focused on the history of the Victorian era) and her knitting or other small craft projects on other. It was familiar and beautiful, just like she was.

I love the cozy chair! I actually have two favorite chairs that I love to spend "my" time in. The mornings are in a soft large cozy chair by the wood burning stove, there I "sit at the feet of Jesus" and spend time in the Word of God and prayer. Then,I have an old, old rocking chair that came from Quebec Canada. It was refinished in Ontario Canada and sold at an antique store up near the tip of Lake Huron. That chair sit beside my bed near a fire place. There I sit and ponder beautiful thoughts. Good night my new blog friend! Blessings to you!
